Podcast: Honor your wellbeing to make a positive impact

What a week!

Sunday I left at 6 a.m. to fly to Charlotte, NC for #ASSHRA23, a conference for Healthcare Human Resources professionals.

Monday, I spoke and facilitated a workshop on Self-Compassion: The Catalyst to Greater Healthcare Impact.

Tuesday, I continued networking and meeting immensely dedicated and caring professionals before flying home late Tuesday night.

Once home, I had full days scheduled of client meetings along with catch up, planning, and preparing for another half-dozen events in the coming weeks.

There is so much to be grateful for!

I'm guessing your week has been just as full, and I hope that in the midst of your tasks, work, chores, and challenges, there have been many moments of meaning, laughter, and connection.

Although I've been delayed, I wanted to take a moment to share the podcast I'd mentioned recently.

It was just released yesterday!

Licensed Psychologist Dr. Rebecca Eldredge discusses the importance of women healthcare leaders honoring their own self-compassion and wellbeing in order to make a positive and sustainable impact.

Despite the warning signs of fatigue, burnout, and overwhelm, many of us continue to "push through"…

Dr. Candace Bellamy asked excellent questions and brought up stories and examples I didn't even know I was about to share!

I greatly appreciate her support, as well as yours, in spreading the message that self-compassion and wellbeing is not just a luxury, but an urgent necessity for those shouldering the loads of caring for others in a world in which injustice is still prevalent.

If this is a message you or someone you love needs to hear, please listen and share.

Together, we can change the paradigm and support the combination of wholehearted living with sustainable impact.

You matter.  You make a difference.  I'm so thankful you're here!
