you're not alone 💞🌎💞

What changes for you when you feel seen, heard, and understood?

If you connect to the last moment you felt that way...whether it was 6 minutes ago, 6 years ago, or 60 years ago...

What is the sensation in your body?

What changes in your mind?

What emotions do you experience?

There is something so powerful - magical even - in being seen, heard, and understood.  It is validating and empowering.  It calms the nervous system and assures you of your safety and worth.  It eases tension and opens up possibility.  It genuinely connects.

Sacha Thompson serves DEI professionals through her podcast, DEI After 5, and our discussion on self-care, self-compassion, and stress management went live this week.

Whether you are in an official DEI role, unofficially asked to serve in this capacity, or a completely untitled agent for change in diversity, equity, and inclusion...

Whether you personally feel the burden of current times or care deeply about someone who does...

Whether you feel you have all the tools you need and are consistently calm, clear, and connected or whether you feel the stress and heaviness of the wars, attacks on DEI, and undermining of human rights...

I hope you'll listen and share.  (If you prefer, you can also find it on your favorite podcast platform.)

I don't know anyone invested in DEI, social justice, and human rights who isn't touched by the pushback and hostility these are receiving across the globe.

My hope is that in this podcast you again feel seen, heard, understood, and supported.

My hope is that it empowers you to reconnect with old strategies and integrate new tools to support your wellbeing, lower your stress, and affirm your value.

And, my hope is that you will take any benefit you receive and share it with others so they can experience the same.

No one should have to do this alone.

You matter.  You make a difference.  I'm so thankful you're here.
